I will go on record saying this is some of the finest guitar work you will find. Hands down. This is some top, top quality guitar work. Especially the 2:20-3:12 area. Truly exceptional.
A very mellow, ambient piece, I have a feeling many people will find themselves looping this over and over again. I'm a firm believer that a good song is one that you can listen to alone on repeat for an hour or two, and I've just now entered hour three while writing this.
Its also interesting to note what went on behind the scenes with this piece. UP AND COMING REMIXERS TAKE NOTE: This mix was just narrowly accepted by the judges, the major complaint with the original version being the drums. Much too loud, and way too intrusive, they disturbed the ambient flow of the piece. Despite ultimately getting the YES vote, Sal went back to the mix after reading our feedback and took our opinions to heart, submitting this much more balenced version. That's the sign of an artist that takes pride in his work. Expect more great things from Sal. I know I am.
