Dyne:
I'm not really sure what to say about this remix. I can say that it's very strange. However, for something like a death theme, I would've thought something dark, sullen, maybe even macabre would've done much better. Despite that, this is not a bad remix. I admit that the percussion is spot on, and that the piano is a nice touch. As are the crying voices you hear in the background of the remix. Otherwise, a solid mix. However, I still think it could've used the darker edge.
Nicely done.
XenoKnight:
Nice Melody, good use of percussion. Ambience Wasn't as present as it was in the other mixes. Sounds a bit repetitive. The Piano work was pleasing to the ears. Overall, A bit on the Average side, Not particularly bad, but not all that great either.
Prophecy:
This mix badly lacks one thing in particular: Verb. The leads needed an eq to bring up hills in the low highs, another around 5k and a low mid/top low. Not enough bass, not enough highs, mastered somewhat low. The arrangement was pretty simple, straightforward but not at all boring. I would've liked to have seen the percussion brought out alot more. Patternally, this mix leads the only other mix with percussion in it by a mile. I bet he could make some good dnb/jungle if he tried. The drums however, were locked away hidden from behind low volume and missing verb frequencies. Alot of the samples sounded strikingly similar to several of the kalava and fruity samples I'm very familiar with. All the right ideas are there but the implementation needs some work. Overall this is a decent mix. It's probably the closest, out of the other mixes, to something I might make as far as style goes. Very Nice Mythril Nazgul.
