Dyne:
To be quite honest, I didn't expect a piano piece when I first saw where this song was coming from. However, when I started to listen, I could almost feel the strangely sublime calm of a cool October's day in the country. This piece flows very well from start to finish, and I must say I'm suprised that it's been submitted with nothing else to back it up except itself.
A very well done piece.
XenoKnight:
A very nice Piano solo.
This piece invokes the essence of the Blackbird. The solo has a very lonely sound to it, and yet, it's a bit uplifting. Extremely well done, and can't be quite put into context. I can't really find anything wrong with the song, except it could of been longer. Recommended.
Prophecy:
An extremely simple, unimaginative but absolutely rock solid arrangement. The piano sound really fits the tone of the notation well. The mastering is pretty low but since its a piano solo, I won't hold it against the song. The melody sounded very familiar to me throughout the whole song. It sounds like something written by a classical composer centuries ago and since then become a time honored classic up with fur elise and others. Of course, this is analogy is somewhat of an exaggeration of Dhsu's prestige, but you get the drift . I couldn't find anything really wrong with the arrangement itself. The velocities and sample triggering were humanized flawlessly. (This of course may be the result of someone playing into a keyboard then importing it via a midi cable and into a sf but nonetheless it should be noted). This is some very quality piano work here. Excellent work.
