Gotta be brief here. getting ready for work in a bit.
Overcoat gives us a remix that isn't jazz at all...more like a funky, James Bond type remix true to the style of Read Or Die, with some excellent precussion work and a bass that growls with the fury of ten lions. The sounds are varied quite well, with some fun synth work and...oooo that bass. I love it. Manages to fill up the sound space without crowding it, and did I mention that the BASS is violent and roaring, like a blitzkreig on an unsuspecting mexican villa by a troope of monkies with chain saws. Good use of sound clips; loving the 1:21 scratching. fun stuff.
I don't see any reason why this shouldn't be on the site. Good concept, well mixed and sequenced. Good stuff from overcoat, who, whether i look forward to it or not, will keep on making music.
